Skin Rejuvenation (IPL Treatment) in Montreal

With aging and sun exposure, your skin loses its glow and the regeneration of its cells slows down. Multiple signs of damage start to appear: fine wrinkles, dilated pores and cutaneous laxity.

“I.P.L” (Intense Pulse Light) skin rejuvenation is a non-invasive method using a strong beam of light that can be used on the skin of the face, neck, hands and chest.

This treatment stimulates the formation of new collagen, therefore improving the texture and the elasticity of the skin.

    Advantages

The “I.P.L” treatment improves the skin appearance. After a few sessions, the skin may appear smoother, clearer, more transparent, more glowing, and firmer. This technology tightens the pores and enhances the skin texture. The photo rejuvenation is beneficial to both the superficial and the deep layers of your skin. The results start to show as early as the 3rd session.

    The Treatment

The I.P.L treatment takes place in our clinic. Exposure to sun is avoided for 4 weeks before and after the treatment.

In the beginning of the session, the skin area is covered with a cold gel. During the pulsations, a mild burning sensation is experienced, similar to the snap of a rubber band. The treatment is occasionally followed by a temporary redness or by a temporary darkening of the treated areas.

Each session takes about 30 minutes. The complete treatment plan consists of 6 sessions, one session per month, followed by a maintenance session every 4 months.

These treatments do not require a recuperation time. Therefore, you can return to your work the same day and resume all your regular activities. There is no downtime.
