Buttocks Augmentation in Montreal

Buttocks augmentation is designed to increase the size and enhance the form of your buttocks.
It can be done by injecting fat obtained from your body by liposuction (the technique used by Dr Fanous) or by using silicone implants.

The objective of the fat transfer or the use of implants is not only to increase the size of your buttocks, but also to improve their shape and roundness, and to make them look younger.

    Fat Injection In Buttocks

A frequent procedure used to improve the overall size and shape of the buttocks is fat transplantation.

Dr. Fanous uses liposuction to remove fat cells from other areas of your body such as your thighs, abdomen, back or hips. The suctioned fat is then processed and purified before being injected into your buttocks.

    Recovery & Expectations

Because the injected fat cells come from your own body, they are not considered a foreign body and the healing process is reasonably short.

During the recovery period, you are asked to avoid sitting on the buttocks for a week. You will experience some swelling and soreness. You may return to work in one to two weeks. After approximately one month, you may resume exercise. The result will be evident within six months following the procedure.

The ideal candidate is a woman who is not too thin. This is because it is sometimes necessary to repeat the fat injection in order to achieve a satisfactory result.

Implants may be another augmentation option if you are thin. However, the implants are associated with other types of risks. The implants are made of silicone and are surgically inserted through an incision in the crease between the two buttocks. We don’t use implants for the buttocks augmentation.

An important risk in the case of fat injection is that the injected fat may be reabsorbed into the body in about one in ten cases. Therefore, you may need to have enough excess fat for a second fat injection if necessary.

Other complications are uncommon but possible, such as bleeding, infection, asymmetry, excessive scarring, loss of sensation, pulmonary embolism, etc.
