This procedure is
being used by Dr. Fanous to enhance the cheeks, augment the
lips, correct facial wrinkles and correct body deformities
or depressions.

A needle attached to a syringe is inserted
into any area, which has a thick layer of fat such as in the
thighs, buttocks, abdomen, etc.
-
Fat cells are aspirated into
the syringe, then carefully injected into the area to be
treated.

This process may need to be repeated for an optimum
result. There are no problems of rejection or allergic
reactions.
Part of the transplanted fat tends to shrink.
This is why more fat volume than needed is usually injected
by Dr. Fanous.

What happens after ?

You will usually be
required to wear an elastic dressing for several days
following the procedure to provide support and to maintain
your new shape.

Most patients experience some bruising,
minimal discomfort and swelling which may last for a few
weeks.

Most patients resume normal activity or return to
work within a few days following surgery.

It takes up to six
months before the final result of surgery is apparent.
However, a vast majority of patients are functional and
presentable in 1 to 2 weeks.
What are the Risks ?
There are
risks as in any surgical procedure, such as infection,
bleeding, scarring, skin irregularities, etc.
